Evaluating candidates, keeping notes about them and sharing with your colleagues is arguably the most important thing in recruiting. Fortunately, it's super easy in multi-view of candidate profile.
Our evaluation form consists of a set of things you can evaluate: e.g. motivation, general competencies, work experience, education, language skills and CV clarity. For each position the evaluation form will be extended with skills listed in the job advertisement:
If you had checked some of the skills to be must-have, they will be separated from the nice-to-haves in the evaluation form. That helps you to compare the candidates to the dream profile you were looking for in the job advertisement. Evaluating the items in the Must have requirements and Other requirements section only serves as a note and won't affect the feedback letter.
Click the hearts to evaluate a candidate. The right-hand side heart represents a strength, while the left-hand side broken heart represents a weakness. You do not have to evaluate all aspects, but usually, the feedback is best if you evaluate at least couple of weaknesses and strengths. You can add more features in the company's features section on the bottom of the form by clicking "Add new feature". There, you can provide sentences you want to be included in the feedback if that feature is rated:
Every user in your company with access to those candidates can change the evaluation. You can leave internal notes to tell more about your notions about the candidate. You can also give an overall rating of the application on a scale from 1 to 5 by clicking the bigger hearts on top of the evaluation form. In summary, you can see how your colleagues have rated the talent. Ratings will also appear in the timeline.
Finally, when you decide not to continue the recruitment process with the candidate, you must reject them and send feedback. Go to the Feedback tab, and you can see the result of the evaluation you made. With the "Regenerate" button, you get more variations of the same content. All the old generations will be saved and you can access them through the "Previous feedback" button. If you have already e.g. called the candidate and don't want to give the feedback again, click the "Feedback already given verbally" button and you will see a general message thanking again for their interest. Sending something for the candidate as a final feedback ends the process for them in the system.
The feedback follows the formality and addressing style you have defined in feedback settings. It will end with either the default signature or your own. The first paragraph lists some skills you were looking for and will need some calibration. Read more about the calibration process here.
Giving personal feedback to the people who would like to work in your company has never been this easy! Feel free to edit the feedback, and once you are ready, you can save the feedback for later (and send multiple feedback letters in batch), or send it immediately.
If the feedback has problems, let us know about it by clicking "Report bad feedback". That way our A.I. will get better every day.
