Gathering referrals is a good way to activate your Talent Community and acquire more talents. This feature makes it easier for your company’s stakeholders to refer talents who may be suitable for your recruitment needs.
In order to generate the referral link, go to "Talent Community" > "Referral link" and choose those Talent Community groups where you want to add referred talents to. Selecting a group is optional but recommended to save extra efforts later on and make searching easier. If there are no suitable Talent Community groups, go back to “Talent Community” and click on “Add a group” to create one.
Please note that anyone with the shared referral link can access your company’s referral page where they are then required to fill in the information concerning the referee and the referrer.
Once you refer a talent to the Talent Community, they will receive an automatic confirmation email, asking for their permission to be added to the Talent Community (see example in picture below). It is recommended to always obtain talent’s consent for storing his or her information for future recruitment needs, but this may vary according to company policy.
If you want to enable or disable the automatic confirmation email, please go to "Settings" > "Talent Community". Here you can also edit the message’s content, the sender’s email address and the default language.
Referred talents are listed in "My tasks" > "To do" > "New referrals" and are visible to those users who have access to Talent Community (usually, admin users and recruiters, but depends on the company’s security policy). Click on referred talent to access “Talent info” view.
“Talent info view” allows you to link the talent to active recruitment by sending a message with application links. Interested candidate can then decide to apply to one or more suggested jobs. Learn more about the actions you can perform from “Talent info” view here.
