The position is active when it has been published and the application period has not ended. Active positions have a job advertisement and they can be applied for. In some cases, active positions from another systems are active, but not published. The “Save & Re-publish” button on the position editing view ensures such positions are published and have a link.
The position is a draft when it's created but not yet published. Draft position cannot be applied for but as a user, you can add applications there.
Draft position can be saved as template. After that, it becomes visible to all users in the company, and can be copied. Job ad in this status can't be published. Later changes in the template are not reflected in the positions, which were created by copying. Unlike with other positions, copied position inherits tags of the template position.
Position can be archived e.g. when all the applications have been processed and recruitment has been ended. Archived positions are not as visible in the VRA as other positions and their applications will be inaccessible until the position is unarchived. Related video interviews become closed.
Active position changes automatically to expired when the application period ends. Expired position cannot be applied for. It's still visible on the main tab of My Tasks page so that the recruitment process can be finished.
Archived position turns into inactive when it is unarchived. Inactive position cannot be applied for.
Waiting to be published
If the application period of a position begins in the future and you publish the position, the status is “waiting to be published”. It will automatically activate on the application period start date.
Waiting for approval
When the company uses recruiting process approval workflow, this status will indicate that position is not approved yet by the required number of reviewers.
