This feature enables you to invite new candidates or add laid off employees to your Talent Community in bulk from an Excel spreadsheet. Please make sure, however, that you have the candidates’ permission to store their information.
Go to the “Talent Community” page and click on “Import from Excel” as illustrated in the picture below.
If you want to invite new candidates to your Talent Community, fill in the required fields (see the example below). Select the right Talent Community group for these candidates and a group-specific invitation message. Learn how to add group-specific messages here.
Copy the candidates’ information to the table and click “Add”. Please note that the added candidates need to confirm their willingness to become Talent Community members by clicking the link in the invitation message (status: “Talent Community invitation message”).
If you want to add laid off employees from whom you do not need to ask consent, tick the box “Laid off employees (will be added as confirmed members)”. The required fields will then become disabled. Select the right Talent Community group for these candidates and a group-specific welcome message. Learn how to add group-specific messages here. Copy the employees’ information from an Excel spreadsheet and paste to the table. Finally, click “Add”.
After adding laid off employees, you don’t need to send them a separate email anymore; they have received a message with the status “Welcome to Talent Community”. They are now confirmed members of your Talent Community, and you can keep them up-to-date on the open positions in your organization.
