In this guide, we explain how to create Pre-onboarding materials in TalentAdore. In case your organization doesn’t have this add-on functionality enabled, please contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.
You can access the Pre-onboarding material from the “Add-ons” page (see the image below).
Creating Chapters
Chapters represent the division of the pre-onboarding content which you can then assign to your teams.
You can open your organization's chapters by selecting “Chapters” on the left hand side. To create new material, click “Create new” and choose between using an existing template or starting from a blank chapter. See the illustration below.
You can divide the material in distinctive “Sections” which will be shown on the left hand side to help readers navigate. Each section can comprise various blocks of content including text, videos, photos, documents, files and questionnaires.
Creating teams
A team can represent, for instance, a function, unit or department of your organization.
You can find your organization's teams by selecting “Teams” on the left hand side. To create a new team, click “Create new” as illustrated below. Click on the pencil icon to add or remove chapters assigned to that specific team.
You can also choose if you would like the new hires to confirm completion of a chapter by ticking the “Confirmation required” box. See illustration below.
File Manager, Chapter Templates and Settings
You can access these functionalities at the bottom left corner of the page (see the picture below).
Add files, manage chapter templates and customize the look of the main page of the pre-onboarding materials to reflect your organization's brand guidelines.
Once you have finished the creation process, you can invite newly hired candidates to access their pre-onboarding material. For more information on how to do this, see this guide.
Please note that this is an add-on feature. If you cannot open the views described above from the “Add-ons” page and are interested in this feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
