In this guide we explain how you can handle recruitment processes more effectively on the Applications page in TalentAdore. Position-specific recruitment flows can be easily edited on the go and you can set deadlines and target lead times for each step. This way you can ensure the recruitment process has a scheduled plan and that applications are handled on time.
There are several ways to access the single position view on the “Applications” page:
- Click on a specific position on the “Home” page,
- click on a specific position on the “Positions” page,
- go to “Applications” page and choose one position by using the search on the left side of the page.
List and Kanban (workflow) views of applications
Once you have selected the position in the search bar, there are two options to visualise the applicants:
- List view as beforehand
- Kanban view
The Kanban view helps you to get an easy overview of the applicants in each stage of the recruitment flow. Additionally, it also allows sorting the candidates by name or current evaluation.
The drag & drop feature enables moving quickly the applicants between the stages, while keeping the overview of the entire recruitment flow.
Recruitment flow bar
With the recruitment flow bar you get an overall view of how many candidates are on which step. You can filter candidates based on the steps by clicking on a specific step name. Multiple steps can be chosen at the same time and deselecting the step will remove the filter. Candidates can also be filtered by outcomes.
Editing a position-specific recruitment flow
You can edit a single position’s recruitment flow on the “Applications” page. By default, this can be done by admin users. Start by clicking on the “Edit recruitment flow” button.
A recruitment flow editor opens and you can edit the flow the same way as in Company settings. However, these changes only apply to the specific position that you have chosen.
When clicking on the three dots on the right side of the recruitment flow step, an action menu opens and you can define a deadline and a target lead time for the step.
- Deadline: A date when the step should be finalized.
- Target Lead Time: Maximum number of days a candidate should remain in the step.
Application is “overdue” or “delayed”
If an application exceeds the deadline or the target lead time of a specific step, the labels “overdue” and “delayed” will appear in the “Remarks” column.
- Overdue: Deadline for finalizing this status step has already passed.
- Delayed: The candidate has remained in this status step longer than the set Target Lead Time.
When hovering over the specific label in question, a tooltip will appear and give more information about the remark.
