Group interviews allow you to interview multiple candidates at the same time. This guide walks you through the process of booking a group interview.
Before starting to use the group interviews, make sure that your recruitment flows include the step “Group interview”. It is required for inviting candidates to the group interviews. Read more about editing recruitment flows here.
Creating a group interview
Start setting up your group interview by opening your calendar page in TalentAdore and clicking on the “Plan Group Interview” link on the top of the page, shown in the picture below.
Fill in a topic for your interview, select date, time and location, and other details. You can also add additional information in the form of a note. Please note that date, time and duration cannot be edited after an interview has been created. All fields are visible for the candidate except the maximum number of candidates.
After clicking “Save”, you’ll be able to edit the interview confirmation message and add other interviewers to the group interview (as indicated in the screenshot below).
Interviewers will have rights to invite candidates and manage the group interview. Co-interviewers will participate in the group interview without rights to manage it.
The created group interview slot will be visible in your calendar, and you can click on it to open the interview information and see which candidates have confirmed their attendance.
Inviting candidates to a group interview
You can invite a candidate to a group interview by moving them to the “Group interview” step on the recruitment flow. After changing the step, click on the “Schedule group interview” button below the recruitment flow.
Select the correct time slots and click “Insert link”. Edit the interview message if necessary and send the invitation to the candidate.
Inviting multiple candidates to a group interview at once
You can also bulk invite candidates to the same group interview. Choose the candidates you want to invite and click on "schedule group interview" under the "interview" column.
From here, select "Change step and schedule group interview" and select the time slot/s you've scheduled into your calendar. (As seen in "Creating a group interview", earlier in this article)
