“Talent Community Settings” allow you to configure your company’s preferences on sending messages concerning Talent Community, and to edit those messages. These settings can be edited only by admin users. Click on “Settings” icon at the top right corner of the page and choose “Talent Community” in the dropdown menu to open the view illustrated in the picture below.
STEP 1 Insert the email address from which automatic Talent Community messages will be sent to the space indicated below.
STEP 2 Select the default language for the automatic Talent Community messages from the drop-down menu. If candidate does not have a preferred language, messages will be sent in default language. If candidate has been a part of a recruitment process previously, and has a preferred language, that language will be used.
STEP 3 Select the number of days after which the Talent Community invitation will expire (if the candidate has not agreed to join Talent Community).
STEP 4 Select if you’d like to send automatic reminder emails to candidates who have been invited to the Talent Community, but who have not yet joined. If yes, you will also be asked to select the number of days after which the reminder email will be sent.
STEP 5 Select if you’d like to send automatic renewal emails to candidates whose membership in the Talent Community is about to expire. If yes, you will also be asked to select the number of days before which the email will be sent.
STEP 6 Select if you’d like to send an automatic Talent Community invitation to all the referred candidates. If you leave this tick box empty, you can review the referred candidates first and only then manually invite them. Read more about referrals here.
STEP 7 It is possible to edit status update messages that will be sent to candidates from Talent Community. You can review the custom messages in each language in “Your own talent community messages” section.
Select which message you would like to edit from the status drop-down and, if necessary, rewrite the default subject.
When it comes to messages, you have two options. The first option is to use the automatically generated message and, if you want, add an “Additional message”. The text added to “Additional message” box will appear as illustrated in the picture below.
The second option is to write the whole message yourself. In this case the same content will be used always. With listed placeholders you can make the message personal. Don't forget to add placeholders of Talent Community link and signature in this case (see the picture below).
Click outside of the box to update the preview area and see the result. After you are done, click “Save”.
